Tilden Katz, a former litigation attorney, helps organizations enhance their business prospects and protect their public standing.
Tilden also teaches a crisis communications course at the University of Chicago Law School and previously, at Northwestern University School of Law where he was voted outstanding adjunct professor.
He has designed and executed communication strategies for market-leading organizations, including: Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Chemours, Exxon, Field Museum of Chicago, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Merck, NCAA, Northwestern University, Office Max, Pomona College, Redflex Traffic Systems, Tribune Publishing, University of Notre Dame and Walgreens. He has advised numerous boards of directors, corporate executives, and outside counsel during critical events. He has also counseled both plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile matters, including antitrust, contract, defamation, class-action, financial, labor and employment, medical malpractice, product liability, regulatory, toxic tort, and white-collar criminal cases.
Prior to Grove Partners, Tilden was a Senior Principal at Cozen Public Strategies and managing director at FTI Consulting where he helped lead the litigation communications practice. He also co-founded and led the Chicago office of APCO Worldwide for eight years.
Tilden earned his B.A., with honors, from Wesleyan University and his J.D. from Northwestern University Law School.
